Blind as a bat?

Do not try this out in one of my classes, I don't care if it's an experiment.

It's disruptive, distracting and you will end up running face first into the wall!

Making learning objectives

To write your own learning objectives, use the table below and the activities I have given you. Each objective needs to have an action word from the table below at the start of it. Choose action words from the marked boxes to make sure it is at the right level for you.

Here are some examples:
If your target level is level 4 and I have told you, you will be studying classification you could:-
- Describe how organisms are classified
- Explain the biological classification system
- Predict an organism's features from its classification.

If your target level is level 5 and you will be studying the fire triangle you could:-
- Apply a knowledge of the fire triangle to explain how extinguishers work
- Predict whether a fire will go out under certain conditions using the fire triangle
- Use the fire triangle to show how fire fighting techniques work.

Hopefully this is fairly clear, if not leave a comment and I will get back to you.

Micro-biology lesson three

Preparation for micro-biology lesson three

Write down a full definition for the keywords, in the context of micro-biology:
- Aseptic
- Sterile
- Contamination

Write 3 levelled learning objectives (for someone of your target grade). Bear, in mind what we will be doing, see below.

In the lesson we are going to use aseptic techniques, carry out a practical to find how many layers of toilet paper you should be using, look at your agar plates and use what you know to explain what has happened.
